TikTok superstar and curve model Remi Bader is beloved by her two million plus followers for her realistic try-on hauls and hilarious commentary.
After sharing a review of items she purchased (but didn’t fit) from REVOLVE on her social channels, the 27-year-old urged the popular retailer to offer an extended sizing collection.
They not only listened, they asked her to design it.
To celebrate the launch, social media stars of all shapes and sizes took over Sadelle’s in Manhattan dressed to the nines in looks from REMI x REVOLVE.
TikTok superstar and curve model Remi Bader – known for raising popular shared frustrations with the fashion industry surrounding sizing and fit for curvier body types on her social channels – has collaborated on a plus size line with REVOLVE
The extended size collection is the first for the next-generation fashion retailer
REMI x REVOLVE lands with an initial release of 15 affordable styles in sizes XXS to 4X
Remi often uses her platform to voice her frustrations with the fashion industry surrounding sizing and fit for curvier body.
‘We listen to our community every step of the way, and this is exactly how REMI x REVOLVE was born,’ shared REVOLVE’s Raissa Gerona.
From the moment Remi began to share the development process with her highly engaged community, she encouraged an open dialogue and feedback.
‘When we first announced REMI x REVOLVE, I said that every piece in the collection would be something I was never able to find in my size, or for my body,’ shared the influencer.
Adding: ‘Now I am able to make this available to people that feel the same way, which is the best part. The process over the past few months has shown that there is incredible interest and demand, and there is also a constant need to evolve, and understand customer needs.’
According to Remi, being able to share the process, and provide step-by-step input from herself and her community was crucial to creating a fully-realized collection created by – and for – the REVOLVE customer.
She worked closely with the design team on scale specifications for each piece, and even participated as a fit model in the final stages of sampling.
This marks the first time REVOLVE is extending sizing above an XL.
The collection focuses on a range of sexy, elevated separates, from suiting and matching sets to slinky dresses and skirts with figure flattering cuts, ranging in price from $55 – $150
Meant for day-to-night wear, the line features a color palette of saturated hues, including deep green, cherry red – and neutrals, including black, soft pink, and pale gray
Versatile fabrics like rayon ponte, jersey, faux leather and knitwear are core to the collection, while novelty pieces are offered in power mesh and burnout velvet
